CURRICULUM

LEARNING AND ACHIEVEMENT

At Hukarere, we want every kōhine to be known, valued and supported to achieve. As we look ahead, we are committed to creating rich learning experiences that hold high expectations while recognising each kōhine's strengths, identity and needs.

Learning will connect across curriculum areas and draw on mātauranga Māori and local knowledge. Creative teaching, practical experiences and learning beyond the classroom will help keep kōhine connect ideas with the world around them. We will plan thoughtfully, adapt teaching to support different learners, and make purposeful space for hands-on and written mahi.

Ou kaiako, whānau and wider kura community share responsibility for kōhine success. By working together, removing barriers and providing meaningful support, we aim to help every kōhine grow in confidence, persevere, and thrive as a local and global citizen, grounded in her identity, values and beliefs.

Below, you will find the 2027 course information for both Junior and Senior Curriculum.
